An elderly woman works in sheep herding. She and her husband rely on selling sheep to pay house rent and buy medicines due to the diseases she suffers from. At first, she had a few livestock to raise. Thanks to the support of the Yemen Ohid Organization, Umm Bassam was able to achieve great success in her work. The organization provided a number of sheep. This support contributed to increasing and doubling the number of sheep raised. Thanks to her efforts and the support provided by the Yemen Ohid Organization, Umm Bassam was able to sell sheep annually for one hundred thousand riyals per livestock. This amount of money she achieved from selling sheep became an important source for increasing her income and improving her living conditions Umm Bassam expresses her joy and gratitude to the Yemen Ohid Organization for the support she received. She says I had been waiting for this support for a long time, as it helped her alleviate the difficult living pressures she was going through and helped her multiply her sheep and increase her source of income. This economic support reflects the commitment of the Yemen Ohid Organization to empowering the most needy women and improving their economic situation. Umm Bassam’s success story shows us how support and economic empowerment can greatly impact women’s lives and help them achieve financial independence and improve their living conditions.
