About Us

Yemen Ohid is a An independent non-governmental organization that started as a youth initiative in the year 2017 and after a series of community activities, it was established as an official organization on February 25, 2019 with permission No. 742 issued by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor in Yemen in accordance with Law No. 1 of 2001.

What we do

The organization aims to support relief and sustainable development efforts and inform the world about the humanitarian crisis in Yemen

Food security and Livelihood

We are looking for opportunities to help as many people as possible. We approach and fund all those in need.

Education

Our work revolves around providing high quality and sustainable educational opportunities for children and youth.

Protection

We consider protection from violence, exploitation, abuse, discrimination and neglect a top priority

Health

We work with local partners and health organizations to provide basic healthcare services to children and families who have difficulties accessing medical services

Water

We work on water sustainability such as providing fair and equal access to clean water

Shelter

We work hard to provide safe and adequate housing for people who need shelter. Our project aims to provide sustainable and high-quality housing solutions to meet people’s needs

Climate

We are committed to protecting the environment and combating climate change through research, awareness and field work. We aim to enhance awareness of the importance of nature conservation and promote efficient use of resources.
