An introductory workshop was held in the capital, Sana’a, on the importance of producing natural fertilizer and the dangers of chemical pesticides on the environment and public health, funded by the Yemeni Customs Authority. 70 specialized personnel in the field of organic fertilizer production participated in the workshop, including 40 male and female students from Sana’a University, College of Agriculture.
The workshop included a practical application of the basics of manufacturing natural organic fertilizer through the stages of collecting and preparing components and the tools required for its production. The workshop aims to familiarize farmers and the community with the methods of manufacturing organic fertilizer and the dangers of chemical pesticides on agriculture.
